Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the standards of conduct required of all users of CreatorBolt™ (creatbolt.com), operated by Rebuild Labs® Ltd, registered in England and Wales. This AUP forms part of and should be read alongside our Terms of Service. By using CreatorBolt™, you agree to comply with this policy in full.

Rebuild Labs® Ltd is an ethical and compliant business. We are committed to operating a platform that is safe, transparent, and responsible. We expect every user to uphold the same standards. This policy exists to protect users, third parties, and the integrity of the platform.

1. Our Principles

CreatorBolt™ is designed to be an enabler — a platform that levels the playing field for businesses of all sizes. It is not a tool for harm, deception, or exploitation. Every feature of the platform is built to help businesses communicate authentically, reach their audiences effectively, and grow sustainably.

We operate a safe space. We will not tolerate the use of CreatorBolt™ to harm, deceive, discriminate against, or exploit any individual or group. We will not permit the platform to be used in ways that undermine public trust, spread misinformation, or cause harm to society.

We comply with the law, and we require our users to do the same. We mirror the content policies of every platform we integrate with, and in some cases we apply stricter standards where we believe it is the right thing to do.

2. Prohibited Content

You must not use CreatorBolt™ to create, schedule, publish, or distribute any content that:

2.1 Financial and Investment Products

  • Promotes, advertises, or facilitates cryptocurrency, digital assets, NFTs, tokens, or any blockchain-based financial instrument.
  • Advertises unregulated investment schemes, binary options, spread betting, contracts for difference (CFDs), or any financial product not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or an equivalent regulatory body in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Makes financial promises, guarantees of returns, or investment advice without appropriate FCA authorisation.
  • Promotes "get rich quick" schemes, pyramid schemes, or multi-level marketing arrangements that are not compliant with UK consumer protection law.

2.2 Adult and Harmful Content

  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or adult in nature.
  • Depicts, promotes, or facilitates violence, self-harm, or suicide.
  • Is designed to shock, disgust, or cause distress to viewers.
  • Exploits, harms, or endangers children in any way.

2.3 Hate Speech and Discrimination

  • Promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010.
  • Uses slurs, dehumanising language, or stereotypes to demean or attack any group.
  • Denies or trivialises well-documented historical atrocities.

2.4 Misinformation and Deception

  • Contains false or misleading claims about products, services, individuals, or organisations.
  • Impersonates any person, brand, organisation, or public figure.
  • Uses fake social proof, fabricated testimonials, or manufactured statistics.
  • Is designed to deceive consumers in breach of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 or the ASA/CAP Code.
  • Spreads health misinformation, including unsubstantiated medical claims or anti-vaccination content.

2.5 Political and Electoral Content

  • Constitutes political advertising as defined under the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (PPERA).
  • Is designed to suppress voter turnout or interfere with democratic processes.
  • Promotes extremist political ideologies or organisations proscribed under UK law.

2.6 Gambling and Age-Restricted Products

  • Promotes gambling services without a valid licence from the UK Gambling Commission.
  • Advertises alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, or other age-restricted products in a manner that targets or appeals to under-18s.
  • Promotes controlled substances, illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia.

2.7 Weapons and Dangerous Products

  • Promotes the sale or use of firearms, ammunition, or weapons in a manner that violates UK law.
  • Advertises products or services that are illegal in the UK or in the jurisdiction of the intended audience.

2.8 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

  • Constitutes spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or any communication sent without the recipient's consent in breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
  • Is designed to artificially inflate engagement metrics, follower counts, or search engine rankings.
  • Uses bots, automated accounts, or fake profiles to amplify content.

2.9 Intellectual Property Infringement

  • Infringes any third-party copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right.
  • Uses copyrighted music, images, video, or text without appropriate licences or permissions.

3. Platform Compliance

CreatorBolt™ integrates with LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. By connecting your accounts and scheduling content through CreatorBolt™, you agree to comply with the terms of service, community standards, and advertising policies of each platform on which your content is published.

The prohibited content categories in Section 2 of this AUP apply across all platforms, regardless of whether a specific platform's own policies may be more permissive in certain areas. Rebuild Labs® Ltd applies consistent standards across all integrations.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content complies with the rules of each Connected Platform. Rebuild Labs® Ltd will not be liable for any account suspension, ban, or penalty imposed by a Connected Platform as a result of content you publish through CreatorBolt™.

4. Responsible Use of Outreach and Automation

CreatorBolt™ provides outreach and automation tools including LinkedIn prospecting, email sequences, and smart forms. These tools must be used responsibly and in compliance with applicable law, including the GDPR, UK GDPR, PECR, and the terms of the relevant platform.

You must not use outreach tools to send unsolicited commercial communications to individuals who have not consented to receive them, in breach of PECR. You must not use automation features to circumvent the rate limits, anti-spam measures, or terms of service of any Connected Platform. Abuse of outreach tools may result in immediate account suspension.

5. Enforcement

Rebuild Labs® Ltd monitors the platform for compliance with this AUP and reserves the right to take the following actions in response to violations:

Where Rebuild Labs® Ltd is legally required to report content or activity to regulatory authorities (including the ICO, FCA, or law enforcement), we will do so without prior notice to the user.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of content on CreatorBolt™ that you believe violates this AUP, or if you believe your account has been incorrectly suspended, please contact us at [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

Rebuild Labs® Ltd may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, platform policies, or our operational standards. We will notify users of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the platform at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of CreatorBolt™ after the effective date of revised terms constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

All software, designs, trademarks, trade names, and proprietary content forming part of this service are owned by Rebuild Labs® Ltd or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
