How to request deletion of your data from CreatorBolt
What data we store
When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account to CreatorBolt, we store the following data on your behalf:
- Your Facebook/Instagram user ID and name
- OAuth access tokens used to publish content on your behalf
- Facebook Page names and IDs you have granted access to
- Content (posts, images, captions) you have scheduled or published through CreatorBolt
How to delete your data
You have two ways to remove your data from CreatorBolt:
Option 1 — Disconnect from within the app
- Log in to https://creatbolt.com
- Go to Connections in the sidebar
- Click Disconnect next to Facebook or Instagram
- Your access tokens and associated page data are deleted immediately
Option 2 — Email us a deletion request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your CreatorBolt account
- Your Facebook account name or user ID (if known)
We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.
What gets deleted
Upon a successful deletion request, we will permanently remove:
- All OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for your Facebook/Instagram accounts
- Your Facebook Page connection records
- Any scheduled or published post history linked to your account
- Your CreatorBolt user profile and workspace data
Note: Deleting your data from CreatorBolt does not remove any posts that were already published to Facebook or Instagram. To remove published posts, please do so directly from those platforms.
Revoking Facebook/Instagram access directly
You can also revoke CreatorBolt's access to your Facebook and Instagram accounts directly through Meta:
- Facebook: Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → find creatbolt → Remove
- Instagram: Go to Instagram Settings → Security → Apps and Websites → find creatbolt → Remove
